Ustad Joga Singh Garcha was born on February 19, 1959, in the village of Garcha. He began his journey in the field of music at the young age of 20. Due to his dedication to music, he moved to Banga city to pursue his passion more seriously. In 1990, he founded the Garcha Music Institute with the belief that by teaching children pure and clean music, he could help build a better society. Many talented artists, including Roshan Prince, the famous Punjabi singer and actor, started their careers from this institute. Since then, numerous students from the institute have made a significant name for themselves in the music industry. Sadly, Ustad Joga Singh Garcha passed away in 2022 due to cancer. Today, his son, Gagandeep Garcha, continues to run the music institute, carrying forward his father’s legacy.
